Counseling psychologist (crisis counseling spec.)
Work and organizational psychologist
In psychological counseling I work with adults who experience difficulties and feel like they need help and support.
These difficulties sometimes can be linked to different stages of life and changes (e.g., individuation from parents, forming and maintaining relationships, changes at work, changes in family life, moving abroad, mid-life crisis), others are consequences of unexpected life events (e.g., mourning, illness, divorce, unemployment). In my work, I strive to make my clients feel safe in a relaxed and accepting environment. Together we look for insights and internal resources on which they can base their next steps and decisions.
My office is in downtown Budapest. I work in English and Hungarian.

About me
My first professional experiences were related to companies and organizations, mainly dealing with issues of work-life balance, burn-out and effective management. Later, my interest turned to the area of crisis: processing of crises, the possibility of change and growth in crisis situations.
I was strongly shaped by the years I spent abroad in the United States, Spain, and then in Austria. Realizations, the joys and problems arising from the differences of national, organizational, and family cultures, their impact on our self-image and identity are topics that interest me.
Next to individual counseling, since 2014 I have been working as a psychologist and consultant at the At Work Counseling Office, mainly in the area of cognitive psychological assessment. In addition to theoretical work and teaching related to psychological tests developed by the Austrian SCHUHFRIED, we also use these assessment tools in practice in the fields of work psychology, neuropsychology, sports psychology, and traffic psychology.
In 2016, we launched the methodological trainings of the Austrian CogniPlus cognitive development program in Hungary.
